Fear is your friend! What? Yep!
It will always be there, it has a message for you, and it is your co-pilot.
Fear is our reliable, built-in resource to keep us safe from harm.
It is a part of our human experience and will always be there.
Fear has so many beautiful messages for you.
It may be telling you that something needs a little more attention or support.
Questions to ask yourself when you feel fear: What do I need right now to feel safe?
What do I need right now to support myself first?
Fear is our guide to where we need to go.
Fear is the X that marks the spot of exactly what needs our attention.
We run into problems with fear when we resist it…
Focusing on what we don’t want to happen
Building stories that don’t exist
Focusing on a worse case scenario
Where we putting our energy?
Are we moving forward and creating our world?
When we resist fear, we get stuck in fear.
Give fear an outlet, if you don’t it will wrap itself around your neck until you pay attention to it. ACKNOWLEDGE the fear, DECIDE the message, MOVE to take action
(My reflections taken from a Lori Harder podcast).
Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit at home and think about it. Go out and get busy. –Dale Carnegie
