Jarah Gregory
Hello, my name is Jarah (she/her). I am currently doing my internship at Yorkville University to complete my Master of Counselling Psychology degree. I have been married for six years and am a mom of two kids.
I knew from a young age that counselling would be my focus for my work. I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Crandall University. After completing my degree, I worked in a small residential facility with youth while implementing therapeutic programs to help them succeed. Following my work with the residence, I felt more equipped to work with youth and young adults facing trauma which reinforced my desire for further education.
My counselling interests include, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety, anger management, emotional disturbances, family conflict, trauma and self-harm.
I look forward to meeting with you, learning about your needs and goals, and assessing how we can walk through this together.
