Jenna Jamieson

Hello! My name is Jenna Jamieson (she/her), and I am a bilingual (French/English) Acadian-Métis Counselling Therapist Intern completing my practicum at Couch of Hope. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in French and Criminology from Saint Mary’s University and am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

Having personally experienced the benefits of counselling, I know how valuable it is to have professional support during times of challenge and transition. This firsthand understanding, combined with my academic training, has shaped my warm, empathetic, and client-centered approach.

I work from a person-centered framework, creating a space where clients feel truly heard, validated, and empowered. My practice integrates Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), allowing me to tailor interventions to each client’s unique needs and goals. I am particularly passionate about helping individuals strengthen their interpersonal relationships, improve emotional regulation, and build confidence in navigating life’s challenges.

I look forward to supporting you on your healing journey!
